navigating fertility

having a womb is wild.

The experience of what it means to have a womb is complex + ever-changing.
Fertility is a multi-faceted + dynamic experience.

While society too often seeks to categorize our experience of having a womb with norms, restrictions,
+ tidy narratives, the reality is much more layered, emergent, + expansive.
Your experience is more layered, emergent, + expansive.

You are…

Pregnant or postpartum, fielding all that that brings.

Undergoing fertility treatment or wondering if that’s for you.

Processing a pregnancy loss, or wading through the grief that
even a wanted pregnancy + birth or child-free choice may bring.

Trying to conceive + it feels like it’s taking forever.

All or none of these things; something else all together.

You are…

In search of a neutral, supportive space to sort + process complexity,
away from projections + expectations.

Seeking concrete + creative tools, coping strategies, + practices to support yourself.

Looking for rights-based, gender-affirming accompaniment as you navigate your fertility.

Committed to showing up fully + mindfully during an intense, overwhelming,
or uncomfortable in-between.

Our work together: spaciousness, mindfulness, + ritual as you navigate any facet of fertility

  • Working with fear. Build a relationship with your fears or “paper tigers.” Cultivate fearlessness, or the capacity to be with your fears. Use creative tools to engage your fears, re-establishing agency + deepening your ability to be with the unknown.

  • Sloughing off. Let go of what you want or need to, whether literal or figurative. Lighten your load. Process a loss or an undesired outcome. Move through grief with wakefulness + strength. Ritualize or commemorate not to forget, but so that you can move forward.

  • Mindfulness during fertility treatment. Support your mind, breath, + body during any phase of treatment. Work skillfully with anxiety + internet rabbit holes. Learn creative coping strategies to support your agency + grounding during uncertainty or overwhelm.

  • Mindfulness during pregnancy or postpartum. Support your mind, breath, + body during any stage of pregnancy or postpartum. Integrate mindfulness sustainably into your daily life. Create personal practices to support you when challenges arise. Rituals, creativity, or space to witness + process aspects of your experience. Honor + tend to your body through supportive movement.

  • Painting your placenta. Bespoke watercolor paintings that commemorate + ritualize your placenta, encapsulating the fuller complexity of your experience. Learn more about placenta paintings here.
